The Music Man

Well, another day in the life of an amateur porn star. LOL, Just kidding all... I just didn't know how else to start my entry, so I thought I'd go for shock value.

I went to see The Music Man today. It was an excellent showing, and I sang along through the whole show. :D And I forgot to mention ANOTHER show that I'm going to, that was a Christmas present from my mom. I will be going to see Grease in the beginning of March.

Okay, so for those of you who know the movie, this version of The Music Man did justice to the movie. Though the characters were definitely not Robert Preston, Ronny Howard, and the Buffalo Bills... they had a fine performance. And the actors were also dancers (a few acrobatics thrown in the mix, too), and they actually played their instruments in the show (or they did one HELL of an acting job). I love the music, and I was right there with every note, every verse. They had a special encore after the show, where the cast came out and played one more chorus of "76 Trombones" in full uniform. It was a truly good show.

And now I have to decide if I'm gonna take $70 of my money, and go to see Les Miserables at the end of January. I would be going by myself, if I did. But I should probably decide tonight, and get the ticket tomorrow. Because I have a feeling that it will be selling out quickly, if it hasn't already. If I go to see it, I want a seat that is close to front row center. I will be singing the entire show for THAT as well, and for Grease. I'm just a complete musical buff. A few years ago, I took my girlfriend of the time to see The Pajama Game, which is a show that our high school performed a long time ago, and I fell in love with almost instantly. I now own the original movie, with Doris Day. I love going to the theater. It is one of my getaways, that I don't get to do too often any more. Guess maybe that should be one of my New Year's resolutions (if I have any), is to go more.

But I should get going, so I can work on some other "stuff". Hey all, be good, and talk to you soon. I'm out.
